3 days a week to see a lifetime of change – Consistency is KING

A goal we have for new members is to come at least 3 days a week for your first two weeks of classes. But why is 3 days a week our goal for you?

First of all, for many people who find us this may be their first time doing anything gym/fitness related. We understand how intimidating this can be and walking into a CrossFit gym could be a win. Therefore, 3 times a week is a number that’s doable. Our classes are an hour long with a coach to run you through a warm-up and workout so it is super convenient.

Secondly, 3 times a week is a quantifiable goal. This simply means that we can actually cross it off of our to-do list. There is no second guessing and it’s clear and concise.

Thirdly, it is easy to feel overwhelmed when trying to make healthy habit changes. There are so many “experts” on social media that tell you should be doing this and not that. Unfortunately, there are no quick fixes or gimmicks. So, that only leaves one thing we can do which is being consistent at going to the gym. And going to the gym consistently acts like a catalyst for other areas of health in your life. After a workout you are more likely to reach for a water rather than a soda, or a salad rather than a Big Mac. These small changes start to build on one another.

Fourthly, when you consistently show up and start seeing progress you may start asking more questions. And at a CrossFit gym, you have a coach there to answer them. A coach you have developed a trusting relationship with; A coach that wants to see you succeed. At that point, the habit has been formed and coming to the gym has become a part of your weekly routine. Three times a week can turn to 4 or 5! Expanding your healthy habits doesn’t seem too overwhelming now, and you feel EMPOWERED!
